Is what your describing entirely going beyond biology (as it pertains to yourself,) or the perfection and union of our Biology (Body) and Spirit with God?
I guess there are at least those two ways of describing it. My being gay and being celibate are so intertwined, and for me they seem to both point to a future resurrected state in which sexual activity and marriage will pass away, but friendship will remain. I think I used “biology” as a shorthand for procreation and the evolutionary process that relies upon it. We will be perfected and bodily resurrected, but will no longer need procreation (because we will no longer die) so in that sense our (sexual) biology will be surpassed.
Thank you for sharing your insights, so beautifully put. Although I cannot relate to your words in the same way, my experience of physically infertile Matrimony allowed me the blessing of deeply relating to some of these reflections.
